so you can finish that kind of stuff completely in the MPC Software. That being said, most people's beats are quite minimalist. Cakewalk doesn't have a first party sampler like many other DAWs :-( ). The only reason you'd use MPC over Cakewalk is for Sampling and programming drums - if you lack other options for doing that stuff (Battery, Serato, etc. ![]() I have the full MPC Software, and I'd still only do drums in there because it's just easier to do everything else in a full DAW, and the feature set is just way better there.Īs a DAW, Cakewalk is far superior. ![]() MPC is "a lot" when used as a plug-in (same with Maschine 2, and FL Studio). ![]() MPC Beats as a Drum Sequencer or Drum Machine, though you can replace it with BreakTweaker Expanded for pretty cheap (most of the time) and end up with a faster workflow.
